teori
hubungan Stress dan Locus of Control / Pusat Kendali
Menurut
Ruiz-Bueno, “Students with internal locus
of control have lower levels of stress and, as a result, report fewer
psychosomatic symptoms than those with external locus of control”[1].
Menurut
Kobasa, Maddi dan Courington, “evidence
also indicates that locus of control personality also have a main effect on
stress”[2].
Menurut
Pearlin, Menaghan, Lieberman dan Mullin, “This
indicates that internals perceive less stress than externals. Although this
relationship is generally accepted in psychological research, it should be
recognized that there are other studies which suggest that stress tends to
erode feelings of control”[3].
perasaan kendali.
Menurut
Horner, “Findings
reveal that external locus of control is associated with higher levels of
actual stress and higher levels of perceived stress. In addition, illness is
predicted by locus of control, neuroticism, and stress”[4].
merasakan stres. Selain itu, penyakit diperkirakan oleh pusat kendali,
neurotisisme, dan stres.
